Take This Slowly
Have you ever wondered if you were meant for something more? Have you ever laid in bed and thought that there might be something else out there that is waiting for you? All you have to do is find it. Reach out and take hold of what you are meant for.
Many times in our lives, Molly and I have asked the question: “what’s next?” We have found ourselves asking this questions for a myriad of reasons. We find our selves bored on a Sunday night: what’s next? We find out we are pregnant: what’s next? Ezra, our son, learns how to say no: what’s next?
Have you ever found yourself in our position, asking what’s next as soon as you reached the next thing? We have found that this question can be helpful at times (like when trying to plan for dinners for the week or anticipating that our baby might try to eat the screw driver on the floor) but it can also hinder our ability to see what God has placed right in front of us.
God is a God of the past. God is also the God of the future. But God is also with us in the now. Maybe it is time we started to pace ourselves to see how God is providing for us now. Maybe it is time to take things slowly.
